here a moo, there a moo, everywhere a moo moo

My freezer now houses one quarter of a cow.  This includes sirloin steaks, rib eyes, t-bones, 4 different kinds of roast, about 35 pounds of ground beef, stew meat, short ribs, cube steak, and the dreaded liver (yikes). Grass fed, of course, and local! I am so pumped. Don't try to steal, it's locked up tight!! I think I'm most excited about the challenge of cooking all those odd cuts that have landed in my freezer. I don't think I've ever made a beef stew, now I have plenty of stew meat to find my favorite recipe.

Once I re-join my farm co-op, Operation Avoid the Grocery Store will be in full effect.
