both sue and robert recommended an area park for some hiking, so we tried it out this afternoon. it was amazing. it was so green and there was moss growing all over everything in sight! we were just waiting at anytime for tinkerbell to appear, or at least a lord of the rings character! the creek that runs through the park has several nice little waterfalls. everyone there had their dogs with them, it almost made us miss scout. we will definitely be back!!also, aaron classes are going very well...while he is certainly one of the most skilled students, he is also learning a lot. and if he gets done with the project early, robert challenges him with other assignments. he is currently (in addition to the veneering) making a chisel out of an old rasp, which involves heating and cooling the metal to harden it. so i guess he is learning some blacksmithing basics as well!!
