today began with a delicious breakfast brought to us by our hostess, sue. coffee, blueberry coffee cake, and fruit were the specials of today. it was delicious!! she was so generous to make us such a great meal much earlier than she is accustomed (she usually brings it up about 9). then, at 8 o'clock, i dropped aaron off at his first day of school this morning and helped him carry his tools to his bench. he wouldn't admit it, but i think he was a little nervous. everyone there seemed very nice. i've just been enjoying the cottage since i dropped him off, because its still in the 50s outside (a little too cold for me), although today's high is supposed to reach 70. it seems almost indulgent to be here this time of year...we get to experience two springs! everything is in bloom and so so green. the ferns and hostas here are huge! all of these pictures were taken around our cottage, i can't believe how lucky we were to find such amazing accommodations.
